The Nepal Aid Association is a nationwide organization in Germany that operates locally in Nepal. The association operates a jeep in the Tamang Heritage Region with its Nepali partner organization "Himalayan Cooperation Society (HiCoS)", which transports patients from remote mountain villages to so-called "Health Posts" or the nearest hospital. In addition, the association supports these health facilities with investments and the funding of emergency transports to the capital, Kathmandu.

The association Nepal Aid e.V. has been recognized as serving a charitable purpose by the tax office Pforzheim with tax number 49053/06470 as of July 4, 2016. (Promotion of public health services, particularly combating epidemics and epidemic-like diseases, also through hospitals in accordance with §§ 67 and animal epidemic diseases (§§ 52 ABS: 2 Sentence 1 No. 3 AO). It meets the statutory requirements according to §§ 51, 59, 60, and 61 AO and is exempt from corporate and trade tax.
The association is authorized to issue donation receipts for membership fees and donations according to the official prescribed format (Section 50, Paragraph 1 EStDV).
