Health & Education

The Nepal Aid Association is a nationwide organization in Germany that operates locally in Nepal. The association operates a jeep in the Tamang Heritage Region with its Nepali partner organization "Himalayan Cooperation Society (HiCoS)", which transports patients from remote mountain villages to so-called "Health Posts" or the nearest hospital. In addition, the association supports these health facilities with investments and the funding of emergency transports to the capital, Kathmandu.

With this 7-day trek, we have put together a great tour and a wonderful cross-section of possible experiences in the mountain region for you. Under the premise that your vacation is time-limited and you are torn with the question of how many days you want to spend trekking and how much time you can invest to get to know the land and its people, we have chosen this trek. We have personal experience from the Manaslu and Annapurna circuits and know the treks mentioned below.

We have "processed" stages of well-known treks (Tamang Heritage Trail, Langtang Trek, Gosainkund Trek). Each of these treks is beautiful, but some also have their lengthy parts. One can hike all the treks one after another if time permits. We have selected what we think are the prettiest elements and compiled them into a short version.

On the way, you gain insight into the original life of the villagers, pass by lemon and orange trees, have distant and deep views, accompany a stretch of the raging Langtang River, and depending on the season, you might even find yourself trekking in the snow. Amazing mountain panoramas of the 8000-meter peaks in the north and the 7000-meter Langtang massif in the east await you. The optional 5000-meter summit requires mountain experience. The difficulty level of the tour is comparable to a hike at Feldberg (Black Forest). The tour lengths range from 4 to 5 hours daily (pure hiking time). We generally recommend a guide.

If you are interested, please contact us by email (info@nepalaid.de). We would be happy to send you a detailed tour description and the link to our comprehensive film about the "All-in-one-Trek". Our information, etc. is free of charge. However, we naturally welcome a donation for our health and education projects.
